On the day the future of space exploration is discussed in Paris, the OECD presented data showing a growing presence of private companies in the space sector. These companies accounted for almost 90% of satellites launched last year, increasingly dominating space.
Despite the growing importance of the private sector, SpaceX and Blue Origin are not present at the conference taking place in Paris. These heavyweights of the sector are absent from the world summit dedicated to the space sector being held in the French capital.
Portugal is not on the sidelines of this issue. The country is involved in the topic of space exploration and is participating in the discussions taking place in Paris about the future of the sector.
