The Environment Minister announced that the Government is preparing a solution to solve the water scarcity problem on the south bank of the Tagus. This region has been facing difficulties in supplying drinking water.
The Environment Minister also revealed that the Social Climate Plan foresees the mobilization of 1,600 million euros by 2032. This investment aims to support climate change adaptation measures.
According to the minister, the Social Climate Plan prioritizes energy efficiency in housing and sustainable mobility. These two sectors were identified as fundamental areas for climate transition in Portugal.
