Edvania Mayara Barboza Santos, 29 years old, was a femicide victim at the house where she lived, in the São Bento neighborhood, in Duque de Caxias, in Baixada Fluminense. Her body was found on the morning of this Tuesday, on the bed, by her children aged 6 and 7. The children called neighbors, who alerted the 15th BPM (Duque de Caxias).
A relative, who asked not to be identified, said the children are traumatized. According to her, the siblings do not want to leave the grandmother's side, cry all the time and are running fever. The relative commented on the children's situation, asking people to imagine the pain they felt upon finding their mother.
According to witness reports, on Monday night, Edvania and her husband went to a party. Upon returning home, in the early morning of Tuesday, the two allegedly argued. Neighbors reported having heard screams and noises during the early morning.
