The president of the Union of Pre-hospital Emergency Technicians, Rui Lázaro, criticized INEM's management, stating that it is clear to everyone that the president of the institute is not prepared for the position and that his replacement will be merely a matter of time.
Rui Lázaro reaffirmed that, if INEM's response does not emerge reduced from the current situation, the conditions are met for the strike to be deconved.
The union's position emerges in the context of a tug-of-war between pre-hospital emergency technicians and the tutelage, with the strike threat hovering over the organism responsible for medical emergency in Portugal.
