The suspicions falling on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding prior knowledge of the Hamas attacks on October 7 will have a negative impact on his political position.

CNN Portugal commentator Sónia Sénica stated that this situation may condition Netanyahu's political ambitions in the electoral process.

Sénica added that the opposition will end up capitalizing on these suspicions against the Israeli prime minister.

The alleged knowledge of the attacks thus represents a potential obstacle to Netanyahu's political aspirations in a future electoral process.
