US Ambassador was received by the Republic's Representative

The ambassador of the United States of America in Portugal, John Joseph Arrigo, was received by the Representative of the Republic for the Autonomous Region of Madeira, Paulo Barreto. The meeting took place this morning at the Palace of São Lourenço, the headquarters of the Representative of the Republic in Madeira. John Joseph Arrigo is the accredited American ambassador in Portugal. Paulo Barreto is the high commissioner who represents the Portuguese Republic in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
