During the month of August 2026, the Torres Vedras Municipal Council, Promotorres and the Municipal Water and Sewerage Services (SMAS) of Torres Vedras carried out a total investment of €3,934,473.23 in contracts concluded through public tender, framework agreement, direct award, excluded contracting II and prior consultation.
The highest value contract corresponded to a framework agreement for the acquisition of hygiene and cleaning services for the primary healthcare units of the Local Health Unit of the West and the Integrated Response Centre of the municipality of Torres Vedras, worth €1,089,095.50. The lowest value contract was a direct award for the acquisition of wines for institutional gifts and for stock of the tourism division, for €557.40.
Among the contracts concluded, the rehabilitation of the Marco Grande and Montengrão pipelines (€418,844.75), the installation of semi-underground containers (€329,389.00), the acquisition of an advanced multi-channel service platform for SMAS (€120,745.35), the repair of road and slope damaged by storms Kristin and Leonardo (€105,989.80) and the installation of an alert siren system under the Tsunami Evacuation Plan (€64,750.69) also stand out.
The contracts involved various contracting authorities, including the Municipality of Torres Vedras, Promotorres and SMAS, covering areas such as education, health, social action, sports, tourism, sanitation, public works and civil protection.
