Microsoft and Cloudflare Fall Out of the Top 10 Best Tech Companies to Work for in Portugal

Microsoft and Cloudflare fell out of the Top 10 best tech companies to work for in Portugal in the 7th edition of the Teamlyzer Awards, which represents the largest ever reconfiguration of the ranking. This change meant the entry of new companies into the group of most desired to work in the Portuguese tech sector.

Among the new entrants in the top are European hubs such as Seven.One, Tech Hub and Swiss Post, which achieved positions directly in the ranking. These European companies replaced those that previously occupied prominent places.

The Ukrainian company Intellias achieved first place in the ranking, thus dethroning Mercedes-Benz.io, which previously held the leadership. This rise of Intellias represents one of the main changes in this edition of the awards.

The Teamlyzer Awards are an important reference for the tech sector in Portugal, and this edition marks a moment of great transformation in the landscape of the most attractive companies to work in the technology field in the country.

Complaints about digital services increase by 195% in the second quarter, ANACOM reveals

The National Communications Authority (ANACOM) registered 121 complaints related to digital services in the second quarter of 2026, representing a 195% increase compared to the same period last year and the fourth consecutive quarter of significant growth. The suspension, restriction or removal of accounts or content by platforms was the main reason, accounting for 68% of complaints. Facebook was the most targeted service with 30% of complaints, followed by Instagram with 25%, while platform X represented 7% and Google 6%. ANACOM referred 53 complaints with evidence of infringement of the Digital Services Regulation to other Coordinators, mostly to Ireland, which received 43 cases.
