Netanyahu sues newspaper for news about warning before October 7 attack

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is suing the daily The Washington Post for a news article published about an alleged warning received before the attack of October 7, 2023. The politician claims that the article is slanderous and that he is a victim of defamation.

In addition to the newspaper, Netanyahu is also suing the journalist responsible for the article and "other entities," which were not identified in the lawsuit. The prime minister did not specify which other parties are involved in the legal action.
