The Municipality of Santarém met on Tuesday, September 8, with the Secretary of State for Culture, Alberto Santos. The meeting addressed various strategic dossiers of the municipality.
One of the main topics under discussion was the classification process of the historic center of the city of Santarém. The municipal executive informed that the classification process was submitted during that week.
During the meeting, steps and goals were also defined to advance the classification process and the requalification of municipal monuments.
This meeting takes place within the framework of cooperation between the municipality and the Ministry of Culture for the enhancement of Santarém's cultural heritage.
