Observador9 September 2026 at 12:04

Justice Minister Rita Alarcão Júdice publicly denied what she classified as "lies" regarding the Pacoba case budget. The minister stated she was "bothered" by the contradictory data that has been presented regarding the destination of 144 thousand euros allocated for the destruction of material related to the case.

Rita Alarcão Júdice asked the director of the Judicial Police (PJ) to take personal responsibility in determining the facts regarding this budgetary issue, thus seeking to clarify the contradictions that have emerged.

The Pacoba case continues to generate doubts and controversy, with the Justice authorities insisting on the need for transparency and accountability from the authorities involved in the investigation.
