US Ambassador was received by the Representative of the Republic

The ambassador of the United States of America in Portugal, John Joseph Arrigo, was received this morning at the Palace of São Lourenço by the Representative of the Republic for the Autonomous Region of Madeira, Paulo Barreto.

Paulo Barreto has been in office for about a year and this is his first official visit to the Madeira archipelago.

The American ambassador will also be received today by the president of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque.
