A violent flash flood struck Nepal, leaving a devastating toll of 1,367 dead. The number of missing remains high, with 5,133 people still unaccounted for after the tragedy.
Among the missing, 587 are foreign tourists. Authorities are still facing difficulties identifying and returning the bodies to families.
Only 102 bodies have been handed over to families, with a large portion remaining unidentified, which hinders the mourning and closure process for many families.
