Nearly 4,600 students returned to classes this Wednesday in Almassora, marking the start of the 2026-2027 school year. The six public schools in the town reopened their doors to receive students, marking the beginning of another school year in the region.
In addition to the public schools, the IES Álvaro Falomir and IES Vila-roja secondary schools, the Cervantes Vocational Training Center, and the San José infant school also began their educational activities, completing the educational offer of the municipality for this new period.
The new school year will be characterized by significant advances in educational infrastructure. The local authorities anticipate improvements in school centers, which should benefit both students and education professionals in Almassora.
