OpenAI revealed during a press conference in Seoul that it is working in partnership with Samsung on the research and joint production of the company's next inference chips. This collaboration comes as part of a strengthening of the relationship between the two companies in the technology sector.

The artificial intelligence company highlighted that enterprise users of ChatGPT in South Korea recorded impressive growth, having increased 28 times in a period of just one year. This data shows the growing demand for AI solutions in the Asian country.

Inference chips are essential components for the operation of language models and other artificial intelligence applications, allowing user requests to be processed more quickly and efficiently. The partnership with Samsung aims to ensure that OpenAI has access to competitive hardware technology to support its growth.

Advances in Digital Literacy: Challenges and Disparities Between Generations

According to a 2025 report from the National Statistics Institute, nearly three in every five people between the ages of 16 and 74 have basic or above basic digital skills, showing a significant advance in the digital literacy of the Portuguese population.
