The Aveiro Book Fair was yesterday the stage for the presentation of two children's books written by author Susana Freitas and illustrated by two artists. The books presented were "O Pinheiro que queria ser Bateira" and "Quero Ser...", which explore themes related to dreams and imagination.
The presentation session took place in the context of the fair and brought together writer Susana Freitas together with the two illustrators who collaborated on the works. The central theme that unites the two books is the capacity of stories and images to free children's dreams and imagination.
"O Pinheiro que queria ser Bateira" tells the story of a pine tree with a different ambition, while "Quero Ser..." addresses children's desires and aspirations. Both projects were developed in collaboration between the author and the illustrators, resulting in works that combine text and image to awaken the creativity of the young audience.
