The Intermunicipal Community of Baixo Alentejo (CIMBAL) and the Portuguese Association of Youth Professionals (APPJuventude) signed a cooperation protocol on Tuesday, September 8. The agreement was formalized in the Noble Hall of CIMBAL, in Beja, with the objective of reinforcing youth participation in public decisions.
The protocol covers the 13 municipalities that make up the intermunicipal community of Baixo Alentejo. The goal is to promote greater involvement of young people in the decision-making processes that affect their communities.
The agreement includes the prepared participation of young people in the process of developing and monitoring Social Development and Health Plans. This measure aims to ensure that the voice of young people is heard and considered in local policies.
