Duda Freire, Virginia Fonseca's best friend, was promoted to muse at Grande Rio for the 2027 carnival. The influencer made her debut on the Sapucaí this year parading on one of the school's parade floats, while Virginia paraded at the front of the drum line. With Virginia's departure, who will not be at the school next year, Duda will take over the muse position.
From now on, Duda Freire will parade on the ground, samba-ing between the school's sections. During the 2026 technical rehearsals, she was already training for the new position without knowing that a future invitation would come. The influencer also took samba lessons with her friend.
The last carnival had a positive outcome for Duda. In addition to parading, the influencer became an ambassador of one of the VIP boxes at the Sambódromo. She is affectionately called "Dudão" by Virginia Fonseca.
