The GNR arrested a 38-year-old man, known as "spiderman", suspected of having carried out 11 robberies in the Almada area. Most of the crimes were committed in schools in the region.

The suspect's method was climbing buildings to access interiors and commit the robberies. This technique allowed him to enter various establishments without using conventional breaking-in methods.

The authorities managed to identify and arrest the suspect, who was placed in preventive detention. The investigation took place over some time until the security forces managed to gather enough evidence for the arrest.

The case was made known by the local authorities, who highlighted the boldness and creativity of the method used by the thief to commit the crimes over time.
