Luísa Sonza opened the Palco Mundo stage at Rock in Rio last Sunday, September 7th. The presentation mixed songs from the albums "Bossa sempre nova", "Brutal paraíso" and other big hits from the Rio Grande do Sul singer's career.
The presentation did not generate encouraging criticism from the press. Videos circulated on social media showing an apparently empty audience at 4pm, the time when the show was held.
The artist used her social media to rebut this perception. On TikTok, Luísa posted a video made from the stage perspective, showing a crowd of people, and wrote ironically: "'The show was beautiful, but it was empty'. Okay (laughs)".
In the post's comments, fans rallied to defend the singer from possible hater attacks. Luísa liked the comments, including one that highlighted that she was in a line-up on a day not dedicated to pop, with an early show at 4pm and in a schedule where the audience doesn't consume pop.
