Benfica SAD achieved a profit of 19.1 million euros, recording a positive result for the second consecutive financial year. This result represents a significant improvement compared to the previous years of financial difficulties that the club went through.
However, the profit obtained this season is lower than that of the previous financial year, which had stood at 34.4 million euros. This difference of 15.3 million euros shows a decrease in the financial results of the red-listed sports limited company.
This announcement comes in the context of the Benfica SAD financial report, the structure that manages Benfica's sporting and commercial activities, including mainly professional football. The positive numbers demonstrate the club's ability to return to profitability after a period of negative results.
The maintenance of consecutive profits, although at lower values than the previous season, indicates a sustained financial recovery trajectory for the Lisbon club, which continues to be one of the clubs with the highest revenue in Portugal.
