Cristina Ferreira, Technical Director of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Felgueiras nursing home, said an emotional farewell to the institution after 26 years of service. The professional arrived in Felgueiras in 2000, more specifically on June 1st, and dedicated almost three decades to the institution, accompanying and caring for the resident elderly.
At the time of farewell, Cristina Ferreira stated that saying goodbye is not easy, noting that over these years she experienced very good moments and others more difficult, but that she takes with her above all the learnings, the friendships and the challenges that made her grow. She highlighted that each elderly person left a mark on her path and that it was a privilege to be able to care for, accompany and share so many moments with them.
To her coworkers and the teams she led, Cristina Ferreira thanked the path traveled together, acknowledging that it was not always easy, but that each one was part of this story and will remain in her memory. She stated she leaves with the conscience that she gave her best during the 26 years at the Misericórdia.
Cristina Ferreira leaves the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Felgueiras to embrace a new professional challenge, but guaranteed that a part of her will always remain in this institution.
