They beat elderly man to steal luxury watch. It turned out to be fake

TVI Notícias8 September 2026 at 21:16

An elderly man was violently assaulted in broad daylight in the city of Lisbon. The man was at a terrace café when he was followed by two men, who accompanied him to where he lived.

While on the way home, the two attackers threw the elderly man to the ground and subjected him to physical assault. During the robbery, they stole a watch that appeared to be luxury.

However, it turned out that the watch was only a replica, not matching the value the attackers assumed. The elderly man ended up being taken to São José Hospital, where he received medical assistance.
