Quaest SP: Tarcísio has 42% and Haddad, 27%, in 1st round scenario

Governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos) leads the race for the government of São Paulo with 42% of voting intentions, according to the new Quaest poll published this Tuesday (08) and commissioned by Grupo Globo. Right behind, former minister Fernando Haddad (PT) appears with 27% of voting intentions.

Compared to the previous survey, released on August 25th, Tarcísio gained two percentage points, going from 40% to 42%, while Haddad remained stable at the same 27%. The other candidates have lower results, with Police Officer Edjane (Agir) appearing at 2%, and the remaining candidates at 1% each.

The survey interviewed 1,800 people aged 16 or older between September 4th and 7th. The margin of error is two percentage points plus or minus, with a confidence level of 95%. The TSE registration number is SP-06946.
