ODEMIRA: Three new companies in the horticultural, fruit and flower growers association of Odemira and Aljezur

The AHSA – Association of Horticultural, Fruit and Flower Growers of the Municipalities of Odemira and Aljezur expanded its network with three new members, the companies Hortifrut, ByBlue Innovation and Masiá Ciscar, the entity announced today.

Masiá Ciscar, founded in Spain, is a leading agricultural company in the production of small fruits, namely strawberries and raspberries. Hortifrut is described as a global company that is currently the largest producer and marketer of blueberries in the world. ByBlue Innovation is dedicated to research and development in physical and natural sciences, focused on agricultural innovation linked to the production of small fruits, namely the different varieties of blueberries.

Luís Mesquita Dias, president of AHSA, highlighted that the entry of these companies into the network reinforces the association's growth strategy and contributes to an increasingly diversified, dynamic community committed to sustainable development and innovation in the agricultural sector.

The association currently has more than 40 members and more than 20 partners.
