The 37-year-old twin brothers, members of the forró group Trio Zero Bala, were seriously injured after being hit by a car on Sunday night (6) on RJ-159, in Quatis, in Southern Fluminense. The musicians were on the highway shoulder changing the tire of the vehicle they were traveling in when another car, which was traveling in the same direction, hit the rear of their car and struck them.
According to the Civil Police in a statement to g1, the accident happened at km 5, near the locality known as Barrinha. The brothers' car's tire had gone flat and, at the moment of the collision, they were outside the vehicle performing the change, and were pinned between the two cars. The driver of the second automobile was also injured.
Renner was rescued in serious condition and is hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Hospital de Emergências de Resende. He had one of his legs amputated. Ronner, also known as Rony, was taken to Santa Casa de Barra Mansa.
