Montenegro announces supplement for pensioners and IRS reduction

Prime Minister Luís Montenegro announced this Tuesday the payment of an extraordinary supplement for pensioners receiving up to 1,611.13 euros per month. This support will be paid together with the pension for the month of December.

In the same announcement, Montenegro revealed a reduction in personal income tax (IRS) that covers up to the sixth bracket. This measure will take effect in November's withholding tax, applicable to both the monthly salary and the Christmas bonus.
