The Rosario Pérez school in Vall d'Uixó began a new era with the official inauguration of a fully rebuilt building, which opened to its 200 students on Wednesday, coinciding with the start of the school year. The reconstruction works of the educational center were inaugurated on the eve of the beginning of classes.
The new building represented an investment of slightly over 6 million euros, funded through the Edificant plan of the Valencian Government. This investment allowed the complete replacement of the center's previous facilities, which had been subject to three decades of demands by the educational community to achieve a full reconstruction.
The students of Rosario Pérez were thus able to start the school year in completely new facilities, at a moment of special relevance for the educational center after years of struggle to improve its infrastructure. The reconstruction puts an end to a long period during which the school community demanded dignified and modern facilities.
