The US president, Donald Trump, paid tribute this Tuesday to the victims and first responders of the September 11 attacks. The ceremony took place at The Ellipse park, located near the White House, in Washington.
Trump marked the 25th anniversary of the tragedy that occurred in 2001, when four hijacked planes struck targets in the United States, including the Twin Towers in New York and the Pentagon.
During the speech, the president promised that America "will never forget" the nearly 3,000 dead resulting from the attacks carried out by the extremist organization Al-Qaeda, led by Osama bin Laden.
