The Municipality of Esposende will hold on September 26 the I Municipal Youth Forum, a meeting that aims to place the young people of the council at the center of public policy definition. The initiative will take place at the Proriver facilities, in Fonte Boa, and is aimed at participants between 14 and 30 years old.
The Forum comes as a result of prior consultation work carried out with youth movements in the parishes, transforming preparatory meetings into an expanded space for debate and collective construction. Starting at 3:00 PM, the Municipal Youth Strategy will be presented, a document that incorporates concerns and proposals collected over the past few months.
This will be followed by four thematic workshops dedicated to the functioning of the Municipal Youth Council, the creation of the Youth House, youth entrepreneurship, and housing challenges. In the late afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to present conclusions and dialogue directly with the Municipal Executive.
The program closes at 6:30 PM with Sunset Jovem 2026.
