The socialist leader also highlighted the shortage of teachers just days before the start of the school year, a problem that directly affects the education sector and the quality of teaching in Portuguese schools. This shortage of teachers has created difficulties in the organization of schools.
The third point raised was the accelerated rise in house prices, which has been worsening the housing crisis in Portugal and has especially affected young people and families with lower incomes.
