PS deputy Marcos Perestrello made a parliamentary intervention where he warned about what he called the "political masochism of the PSD" which, according to him, feeds the "political sadism of Chega." This statement comes in a context of political tension between the main parties.
Marcos Perestrello also expressed concern about potential agreements between parties for a constitutional revision. The deputy warned about the risk that such agreements could compromise fundamental rights and social rights enshrined in the Constitution.
The socialist deputy's intervention is part of the broader political debate about the country's direction and alliances between parties, at a time when the relations between PSD, PS and Chega have been the subject of public discussion.
