Montenegro announced a new reduction in income tax rates, the fifth since he took office as prime minister. This reduction covers the first six income brackets and will be applied to salaries and pensions already in November. The Government will propose this measure to the Assembly of the Republic. The tax reduction aims to ease the burden of taxes on low and intermediate-income taxpayers, resulting in a direct impact on the wallets of workers and pensioners. This fifth income tax reduction is part of a broader fiscal policy strategy by the executive to boost the economy and increase families' disposable income.
