Sporting Clube de Braga opened a football academy in China, expanding its international presence to the Asian market. The arsenalists' school, as the Braga team is known, established itself in the city of Hangzhou, located in Zhejiang province.
The academy aims to train young Chinese players following the training methods and sports philosophy of the Portuguese club. This expansion represents a strategy to internationalize the Braga brand, which seeks to export its football knowledge to another market.
The choice of China as the destination for this expansion is due to the growing interest of the Asian country in European football and the significant investments that China has been making in sport. Hangzhou, a city with more than 10 million inhabitants, offers conditions for the development of a project of this nature.
With this initiative, Sp. Braga joins other European clubs that have established academies in China, taking advantage of the growing demand for quality sports training in the country.
