The United States Government today included the entire Iranian aviation sector on its blacklist and threatened to sanction any organization that works with Iranian airlines.
All Iranian airlines are now under economic sanctions, announced the US Treasury Department in a statement, which manages the economic side of Washington's war against Tehran.
The main Iranian airlines, Mahan Air and Iran Air, were already targeted by sanctions. Now, all remaining companies in the country's aviation sector have joined them.
