The motion of censure presented by Chega against the Government was rejected in the Assembly of the Republic on Tuesday. André Ventura's party did not obtain the necessary votes to approve the motion.
Only Chega voted in favor of the motion of censure. The remaining opposition parties and the party that sustains the Government voted against or abstained.
The motion failed to provoke a political crisis, since it did not obtain the necessary majority to pass. The PS minority Executive thus remains in power without changes.
