A 23-year-old man was arrested by the GNR on September 6 in Vidigueira, in the district of Beja, on suspicion of the crime of illegal possession of a weapon. The arrest resulted in the seizure of a pistol and 34 ammunition.
The suspect was subject to weekly presentations at the police station in his area of residence, a measure applied within the framework of the ongoing judicial process against the individual.
The operation was carried out by the GNR Territorial Command of Beja, which ensured the detention and search of the individual, resulting in the seizure of the aforementioned material.
