The theatrical play "A Barca dos Loucos" was created during one month of artistic residency in Vila Nova de Santo André. The play will be presented over five days, from Wednesday to Sunday, in five different localities.
The presentations take place in localities of the municipalities of Santiago do Cacém and Sines, both located in the Alentejo coastal region. The presentation circuit thus takes the play to different spaces of these two municipalities.
The project results from a creative work developed over a period of one month, during which the artists worked in residency in Vila Nova de Santo André. This residency allowed for the complete development and preparation of the play before its tour of the region.
The initiative thus promotes access to culture in the communities of the Alentejo coast, bringing theater to various localities in the region in a short period of time through this presentation circuit.
