The Order of Nurses (OE) announced today the creation of a free mental health and well-being program directed at nurses. The program includes consultations and a SOS line available 24 hours a day.
The objective of the initiative is to support health professionals who face emotional and psychological challenges in the exercise of their professional activity. The SOS line will function permanently to attend to emergency situations.
This program arises in response to the difficulties faced by nurses, who have been subjected to high levels of stress and pressure in the work environment. The Order of Nurses thus decided to make this resource available to take care of those who care.
The OE did not specify when the program will become operational or how many nurses may benefit from this mental health support measure.
