Leonor Rocha, a 13-year-old driver from Ponte de Lima, won the last race of the Toyota Portugal Karting Championship (CPK), held last weekend at the International Karting Circuit of Braga. The young driver expressed great satisfaction with the victory, stating that it was an award they had deserved for a long time and dedicating the result to the Paulo Pita team and her family.
Leonor Rocha is the daughter of Nelson Rocha, a former national champion in kartcross and drift. The driver from Ponte de Lima has been standing out in national karting since the training categories, having been runner-up national champion in 2022 in the Micro Academy category and achieved third place in the Cadet category.
In 2025, Leonor Rocha became runner-up national champion in the X30 Júnior and Júnior Max categories. This season, the driver also finished in second place at the Winter Cup, held in March at the circuit in Viana do Castelo, and also achieved second place at the Spanish Karting Championship in Málaga.
The young driver revealed that she is preparing for the final phase of the season, which will include races in Spain and the Portuguese Cup, expressing that she feels increasingly stronger and more confident for the remaining competitions.
