Vila Franca keeps Finance service point

The Ministry of Finance published, in early August, an ordinance that concentrates the services of the Tax Authority in the municipality of Vila Franca de Xira in a single Tax Office, installed at the Citizen's Shop in Alverca. The legal diploma implements a process that began about two years ago, with the closure of the former Tax Office of Vila Franca de Xira. The measure generated some opposition from the local population. A solution was even requested that would allow the maintenance of two offices, taking into account the needs of the citizens of the municipality.
