Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev made his first official visit to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, where a strategic partnership between the two countries was welcomed.
During the visit, Serbia and Uzbekistan signed 20 bilateral agreements covering various areas, including transport, energy, digitization, and labor mobility.
The negotiations also included preparations for a future free trade agreement between the two nations, aimed at strengthening bilateral economic relations.
Furthermore, the two countries expressed support for the Middle Corridor, a trade route linking Central Asia to Europe, demonstrating their mutual interest in improving connectivity between the two regions.
