The Portuguese prime minister, Luís Montenegro, reiterated on Monday his "total confidence" in the minister of Internal Administration, according to a note transmitted today by his office.
In the same communication, Montenegro explained that "all members of the government are in the government because they correspond to the choices of the prime minister," thus reinforcing his position of support for the member of the executive in question.
