Circulation on the Beira Baixa Line will resume on September 20, according to Infraestruturas de Portugal.
The section that will reopen is located between the stations of Mouriscas-A and Ródão, which was damaged due to the passage of storm Kristin.
For the repair of the damage caused by the storm, an investment of 3.4 million euros was made.
With this reopening, the Beira Baixa Line will return to full operation, restoring the railway connection in the affected region.
