Ancelmo Gois is a columnist for the newspaper O Globo, publishing notes daily on the website and, on Saturdays, in the print edition of the newspaper. In an interview for the sixth episode of the series "Interns Ask," he talked about his team's work and the criteria used to decide the content of the publications.

During the interview, Ancelmo Gois reiterated that his greatest topic of interest is Rio de Janeiro. According to him, although they may talk about various subjects, his "passion" is the city of Rio de Janeiro, demonstrating his love for the capital of the state of Rio de Janeiro.

The columnist also shared a negative experience he had when publishing incorrect information. He said he reported the death of writer Ariano Suassuna after receiving a call from a source, but half an hour later the same source called back to inform him that the information was wrong.

When asked about how he decides what becomes a note or not, Ancelmo stated that he tries to write about various topics, covering everything from culture to politics, but made it clear that he has a greater love for Rio de Janeiro, which remains the main theme of his publications.
