The Amadora City Council announced that it met 100% of the PRR (Recovery and Resilience Plan), thus fulfilling the objectives established for this European financing program.
Approximately 60% of the funding received, corresponding to approximately 31 million euros, was directed to the housing area, representing the largest share of municipal investment under this plan.
This investment enabled the construction of 48 new homes in the Cerrado da Mira neighborhood, contributing to increase the supply of municipal housing in the municipality.
In addition to the construction of new housing, the funding also allowed for the requalification of almost 1,500 housing units, covering improvement interventions in existing homes in the territory of Amadora.
