Artificial Intelligence has become a strategic priority for credit fintechs in Brazil, according to the Credit Digital Fintechs Survey conducted by the Brazilian Digital Credit Association (ABCD) in partnership with PwC Brasil. The study reveals that 96% of surveyed fintechs declared their intention to implement or expand AI solutions over the next two years, the highest rate ever recorded for any technology throughout the survey's historical series.
The survey indicates that 62% of companies in the sector already use AI effectively in their operations. The main change identified compared to previous years is the level of commitment from fintechs to the technology, which is no longer a side project but integrates the core of companies' strategic planning.
According to the study, intensive use of technology is a characteristic of the digital credit segment. In this context, AI adoption is treated as just the starting point, with the current question focusing on how the technology will be employed and at what scale, considering the impact on the sector's operations.
