The PSPV revealed the names of most candidates for the Municipal Councils of the municipalities of the Valencian Community with more than 20,000 inhabitants, during a meeting that brought together all the party's mayoral candidates.
Among the novelties, the appointment of Rafa Simó as candidate for the Castelló City Council stands out, as well as the choice of Vicente Aparisi for Burriana. These appointments represent significant changes in the socialist leadership in these municipalities.
On the other hand, some candidates repeat their candidacies in relation to the previous elections. This is the case of Merche Galí in Almassora, Guillem Alsina in Vinaròs and Ilde Añó in Benicarló, who will try to maintain or win their respective municipal mandates.
The meeting served to start the party's electoral strategy for the May municipal elections, bringing together all the candidates for the first time in the same event.
