Chega questions: "Why was Luís Neves removed from Operation Influencer?"

Chega's leader, André Ventura, questioned in Parliament why current Minister of Internal Administration Luís Neves was removed from Operation Influencer, within the framework of the motion of censure presented by the party. Deputy Rita Matias reinforced the suspicions, questioning the normality of a reference criminal police body being removed from a process that led to the fall of a Government. Operation Influencer investigates suspected crimes in the construction of a data center in Sines, in lithium exploration in Montalegre and Boticas, and in hydrogen production, having led to the fall of António Costa's Government in November 2023.
