The Portuguese Parliament debated this Tuesday a censure motion against the Government presented by the Chega party. The debate took place starting at 3:00 PM and lasted approximately three hours.
The censure motion was presented by Chega, a Portuguese far-right political party. The objective was to censure the actions of the current Government.
The voting result was predictable from the beginning, as the motion would be rejected. The title of the news article itself indicated that the rejection was announced, meaning it was considered certain even before the vote.
The debate took place in the plenary of the Assembly of the Republic, where the members of parliament had the opportunity to discuss and vote on the censure motion presented by Chega against the Executive.
